Honeycomb Design
The hexagonal form has multiple points of support. Compared to flat structure, it stays in shape better, it has very good stretchability, and the best of all, better heat blocking efficiency.
The honeycomb material is actually double layered - outer layer consist of 2 different types of PET plastics, and the inner layer is coated with aluminum. Together, they make the curtain strong and stable, achieving 100% sunlight block out and 85% less heat transfer.

It's easy to find a foldable fabric roof sunshade. But to me, the constant set up and removal is just not an ideal solution for me. I had been think about designing one that work like a moonroof. Once set up, I can open or close, and decide how much sunlight to let in. It will no longer be an all-or-nothing game!
